Quantum information techniques for quantum gravity
How to identify semiclassical states with long-range correlations as the ones of perturbative quantum fields in a fixed background spacetime is still an open question in LQG. Correlations of local observables can be fully characterized in terms of entanglement entropy, and finding states with non-zero entanglement entropy between localized regions (admitting correlations) is difficult. I contributed to studying quantum information properties of general typical states, and Bell network states in LQG.
